General information

An informal and family-friendly atmosphere awaits you throughout the house. Colonial-style furniture, original paintings, graphics, sculptures and photographs from two centuries and many countries decorate corridors and rooms and are protected by the robustness of a loft-like former industrial building and lend the house a very special, homely flair.

In the house there are 32 individually and very comfortably furnished rooms for single and double use. The rooms are offered in two categories depending on their size.

Additional information

A beverage vending machine is located in the lobby. Some rooms are equipped with desks and connecting doors. Non-smoking rooms are available as well.

Dogs are allowed for € 10.- per night.

The Hotel & Restaurant Gutenberger is located at the edge of the old town of Luebeck in the district Eichholz not far from the border to Mecklenburg Vorpommern.

At first sight the hotel is located in a small, quiet industrial area, but the region is crossed by forests and lakes that invite you to long walks in nature.

In 20 - 30 minutes driving time by car or also by bus and train you reach the seaside resorts Travemünde, Timmendorfer Strand, Niendorf and Scharbeutz. In 8 minutes by car or 12 minutes by bus you reach the old town of Lübeck.
