The Maritim stands directly next to both the Travemünde Beach and the estuary of the Trave. It towers the waters, at 125 meters tall. The hotel is located on the 5th to the 14th floors. All the other floors are private apartments, partly in use for vacation rentals. All floors can be reached with the elevators. There are no stairs (only the fire exit stairs). Europe's highest lighthouse light is on the rooftop, with a height of 114,7 m. This light took over in 1974 for the oldest lighthouse in Germany, the old Travemünde Lighthouse, stuck only a few meters behind the tower.

The minimum rental period is 5 days during peak season. Final cleaning and linen package are included during peak season (bed linen, dish towels, hand and bath towels, and bath mat). During off-season, a final cleaning fee of €50.00 is charged (included in the offer/booking). This is a non-smoking apartment, and pets are not allowed. A parking pass for the Maritim parking garage can be booked on-site for €10 per night. You will receive a transponder chip with your door keys, which you can use to operate the residence's entrance doors and the elevators. The apartment is located on the 17th floor. From the elevator, take the hallway to the right; the apartment is on the left. A covered outdoor parking space with lockable bicycle racks is located at the entrance to the residence. Wellness facilities such as a swimming pool, sauna, beauty salon, hairdresser, as well as restaurants and cafés are available in the building for an additional charge.

We would like to inform you that, during the summertime, the beach is cleaned mechanically and thus there might be a disturbance caused by noise every morning. There may also be seaweed, which can create a very strong odour. We do not give a price rebate and there is no right to compensation.

We would also like to inform you that - especially during the weekends - open air festivals could be taking place, which means it can be noisy at this time, particulars along the sea promenade. This is especially true during the Travemünder Woche - the 2nd biggest sail event in the world - which takes place at the end of July. Please inform yourself of the exact dates. Thank you!

Visitor's tax:
The visitor's tax is not included in your booking and needs to be paid separately.

Cancellation policy:
You can cancel the booking free of charge up to 30 days before arrival. If you cancel later than 30 days before arrival, the entire rental fee must be paid. We recommend travel cancellation insurance, which you can get in all travel agencies within 10 days of your booking.
